Installing Old Standard TT on OSX results in complaints

STEPS
1. Download either OldStandard-Bold.ttf or OldStandard-Regular.ttf
2. Install them on Mac OSX (I am on 10.10.2)

RESULT
Font Book's validator complains about the kern table structure and content
