Doesn't clear stock SMS icon unread count when hitting reply or delete, only with close.

The only option to clear the unread count is when you hit the close button on 
the popup screen.  That really defeats the purpose of replying or being able to 
delete the message from the popup.  If either of these two functions are done 
from the popup screen, the unread count on the stock SMS icon shows 1.  This is 
on an HTC EVO.  It may only be on HTC Sense based UI's on the Android OS.  
Otherwise, it is a wonderful app.

I use Galaxy S and the count doesn't clear even on close. It marks the message 
as read, even the number in the contact chain is updated, but until you read 
the message inside the icon count doesn't clear. Would love to see that fixed!

I'm using an LG-P500 Android v2.2 and the SMS unread count (ie: the one 
displayed on the lock screen) is not decremented after close or reply via SMS 
pop up.

If using a HTC Sense enabled phone, please see the FAQ here:

(it is not possible for SMS Popup to update the home screen icon unread count, 
HTC does not make this functionality available to 3rd party apps).

If using another phone that does not have vanilla Android, you could see issues 
with the unread count refreshing. Unfortunately this is due to the custom code 
the phone manufacturer has put on the phone and not something SMS Popup can 
refresh (sounds like this is the case for the Galaxy S and LG-P500).
