Blacklist from Warden app #1330

Hello,

I read this beatiful artilce https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/warden-app-manager-t4122227 on XDA.

Can you add their list, you can find it https://send.firefox.com/download/2d10064b197b304b/#WydxB9-2SmZLtfpfT2PnBw or in the previous link, in order to protect our smartphone from trackers?

@snowdenjohnch the resource you link is not a hosts file.

Secondly, I scanned a few of these and we already block a good number of these, based on my quick sample.

So it's not clear what this brings us. Does anyone want to analyze this?

Looks like a few good additions, but I wouldn't add every single one.

This is not a good list. Just look at the api entries, for example. Mapbox? Giphy? Baidu maps?

@llacb47 the script you extracted the list from is based solely on wildcard blocking(very similar to how the adblockers doing it). What we see are the main domains from which the telemetry/tracking etc. sub-domains originated from,and still,looking at the domains is way too aggressive(too many api.. sdk... and whatnot). How is that doing any good to any of us here but very likely potential flood of false-positive issues from angry developers and android users in the next few months?
