Handle authentication from React frontend

Take in credentials from front end login page and pass them to the django auth framework. Return session token upon success, error message on fail.

Challenges:

• Writing the logic to accept credentials from a non-standard django origin
• Getting django to accept a JWT token as an authentication mechanism
• Persisting user state/session with the token
• Storing the JWT token in React component states so that it was global and accessible from all layers of components
