Feature Request: Automatic Daily Backups #70

Open rolltidehero opened 2 years ago

First off, I want to thank you for making the best web time tracker plugin by far!

I think automatic backups (local or cloud) would be great. Allowing the user to set the interval would be a nice option too.

Does anyone have a workaround for this? I was thinking iMacros but I don't believe it's able to interact with the Save As dialog.

Would making a copy of the Extensions folder achieve this result?

Honestly, I think this is a must-have feature. I'm glad you posted.

Meanwhile, this improvement wasn't implemented, I manually copy the data and extension folder to a personal git. The extension directory, I guess, is not obligatory, but I copy because it is small and for safe.

# data
.config/BraveSoftware/Brave-Browser/Default/Local Extension Settings/hhfnghjdeddcfegfekjeihfmbjenlomm

# instalattion version reference
.config/google-chrome/Default/Extensions/hhfnghjdeddcfegfekjeihfmbjenlomm/1.7.2_0

Only copy these folders and when you need, closed the browser and replace the files by what you desire. With me works when I need. I hope it helps.
