Thnx I tested it but still doesn't work hangs the same.
could this have something to do with the fact that this CD has blocksize=2352
???
i made the iso with imgburn. Tried with Gigahertz CD plugin with the cd in
drive but
still doesn't work.

New info: if you let the intro progress it hangs with half fps after the
lucasarts
intros. If you press X before the second lucasarts intro ends it progresses as
it should.

Yet more new info: i tried the print cdcd info option found strange it
sometimes says
xx blocks of size 2340 and sometimes of size 2048 but never 2352 strange.
Sorry for the triple post i report things as i find them. I don't mean to spam
anyone.

Using non-legacy version (2330) and yes no difference in behavior these days
unfortunately. Can't wait for this one - it's actually pretty fun!!

I uploaded a block dump of the game if a dev
want to check. Just press X three times to jump the intros, START,
Single Play, Anakin Skywalker, Choose the track that appears, wait the loading,
Then press X to start Racing and the screen goes black and hangs.

Thanks for doing that juniorth.
Let me know if there's anything else needed. I can provide whatever and test
any
possible fixes. Once the gfx initiate properly here, something tells me the
game
will be perfect. Good luck and thanks in advance!

Blockdump wasn't really useful but somehow I managed it to work.
Try this patch and report whether the game works now or not?

Can anyone apply the patch and build for myself and maybe others to test? Never
tried doing this myself, looks like there's a number of steps and if I mess
something up, the results I post here won't be accurate (helpful). Thanks so
much
prafull for working on this and I'll test immediately once this is made
available.
Can't wait!!! :)

I knew that. :)
Well, I'm pleased to say the game 100% works now. I don't see a single issue
anywhere ingame. Brilliant work Prafull! Thanks for making another game
completely
playable!!

Looks like it's not completely fixed. There's always a graphics glitch when a
race
starts (no big deal) but along with that, it looks like Race 10 in the
"Campaign"
still suffers from the soft lock. SFX loop and black screen on this race,
meaning
the game cannot be completed. :( Attached is my MU with a save (NTSC) along
with a
screen shot of where I'm at.

Looks like you can actually load this level in "Single Race" mode. But of
course it
crashes soon after start. See screenshot for locatoin as well as the
informative
error message. Good luck!

Crash still happens on "The Grand Reefs" track on r3636.
Looking forward to getting this game working properly. Let me know if you need
anything else for the fix! Thanks!

Alright, this one is working and I got to the crash. It's a nasty one ><
I'll see what I can do ;)
Original comment by ramapcsx2

Well, the good news is it no longer crashes! BUT, as soon as I hit this part
all of the tracks gfx starts glitching and all you see if large flickering
polygons everywhere. It does this until I get back near the start line where
things are fine (just like when I begin the race).
Some of the hud can be seen, but it's a nightmare trying to play the long track
like this (and you can kiss away getting 1st and advancing :P).
So hopefully, this can be fixed up sometime and then this game should be solid!!

Update:
Still the same problem. Couldn't get more info on it yet.
Original comment by ramapcsx2

Okay, the game works now with a recent GSdx.
The problem is caused by some VU1 < > GS communication that we haven't figured
out yet.
It currently draws some water if you run it in GSdx software mode.
If you switch to sVU, it also draws the water correctly behind the track.
(Some problem with mVU skipping illegal blocks which sVU doesn't do)

Finally I can finish this track and actually beat the game now! Thanks for
finding that out! I 've tried those settings before but just not together.:)
Thanks for continuing to track this!

I have a problem on a level, The Grand Reefs. It is something with the texture,
I think. You can see on the picture the problem. I enabled speed hacks, because
it is running at low fps.
What setting should I use ?
Thanks in advance!
Sorry for my English!

Use superVU as the VU recompilers.
Original comment by ramapcsx2

Same garbled graphics problem on The Grand Reefs.
Switching to a software dx10 in GSdx let me play the race, although with very
drastic slow downs from time to time, but switching VU0 and VU1 to superVU
recompilers did nothing for me.
Perhaps I didn't do it right?
Original comment by DeltaOhS...@gmail.com
on 20 Oct 2011 at 4:00
For two tracks (Grand Reefs and one other...) you need just VU1=SuperVU +
Software mode in GSDX to be stable and render the scene correctly. Works
perfect for me. Thankfully it's only for two tracks, the other 10 or so are
perfect with whatever setting.

patches?
Original comment by soundwav...@gmail.com
on 27 Nov 2011 at 8:39
The game is playable with any recent version of PCSX2.
You'll have to use GSdx software rendering and switch the VU recompiler to
"SuperVU" though.

Oh thank you! Game works but wery slowly (about 8 fps). Would i use any
speedhacks?
Or tell me please additional settings for emulator.
Original comment by soundwav...@gmail.com

You can run the game with more fps on hardware GSdx and microVU. It works fine
except 2 tracks: The Reefs and the track that goes directly after it in the
champinoship (I don't remember the name though). You have to switch to
hardware/superVU for them. It's written in the comment 41 by the way, I checked
it and works good. Good luck.

Stop spamming this issue and try reading the rules for once kid! Go to the
forums to learn how to use the emulator. This place is only for issue tracking.
You're lucky you got two people that tried to help you out and basically repeat
things that you didn't even bother to read above.
