[SPU2-X] Naruto Ultimate Ninja Games, sound skipping during animations #285

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

Don't think it ever worked properly, sound skips like mad regardless of
framerate whenever you activate a special attack.

Edit to Naruto Ultimate Ninja 1, since it doesn't happen in 2.

I am not sure what is the problem here, since it's not explained very well, but
I
think you're talking about the sync hack problem. Choose 1.5 cycle rate or
less, for
the speed hack, as 2x causes choppy FMV movies, as stated in a note below that
setting. That should help.
Did it?

No, at it's explained fine.

Play the game, do a special attack, listen to sound go nuts, out of sync, high
pitch,
no music.

Yeai understand what you say grimlord but x2 cycle rate cause a pretty good
speed up
so its a shame :(

Could someone who a) has this game and b) is willing to turn off the speedhacks
(sigh) please retest this?

already tested it,using latest stable release, and without speedhacks there isnt
any
sound skipping at all,the sound skiping occurs specially during ougis
(specials) and
is caused by setting the emotion engine speedhack to x1.5 or x2,any other
speedhack
has no effect on the sound.

Just like I've said, ages ago. There was no point making an issue out of a
problem
that occurs when using a hack. Oh well, been playing it for ages, no problems.
:)
