altering multiple pdf merge #414

I tried to figure out to solve the following wiht stirlingpdf:

two pdfs as a result of a single side scan of a double sided document
two pdf consists now out of front pages and back pages (in reverse order)
want to merge the two pdf by
first page of pdf1, last page of pdf2, second page of pdf1, second last page of pdf2
this function is available in pdfsam (alternierendes mischen) and I could not figure out how to do this this stirlingpdf

Any idea?

Merge both together into a single pdf

Then go to organise pdf method and select duplex sort That should work I think

I think this will not result in a pdf file with the sides in the right order w/o manual interaction.

Your suggestion works fine. I think many users have only one-side-scanners and the function is very useful.

Can this be implemented to be handled in one step (so selecting 2 files and then exporting the result in one file with the pages in the right order). pdfSAM names this as "alternating mixing" of two files.

Alternate mixing like in pdfSAM would be a great feature
