[Quest][Sunsong Ranch] Work orders don't always give follow-ups #1666

Realm where you noticed the issue: Mistblade 2

Description: After picking up a work order from the post at Sunsong Ranch, for instance Golden Lotus asking to plant 8 white turnips, the automatic follow-up (to harvest and deliver 40 white turnips) doesn't always show up. It's random which ones work and which ones don't - so far I've had issues with both Klaxxi and Golden Lotus. I'd wager around 1 in 10 don't give the follow-up.

Current behaviour: Finish planting (for instance) 8 white turnip seeds, and get auto-completion of https://www.wowhead.com/quest=32647/work-order-golden-lotus-i - but then https://www.wowhead.com/quest=32648/work-order-golden-lotus-ii doesn't automatically pop up after turning in.

Expected behaviour: The quest to harvest and deliver should automatically pop up after completing the sowing part of the work order.

That is an issue that has been present on retail as well. You can see the comment section on the link you posted. In order to get the following quest you have to pick up the quest from a wagon that is next to your farm.

Wowhead comment: "They hot patched the way these quests are picked up/turned in today (3/8/13). Once you have planted your crop for part 1 and come back the next day to harvest it, this quest will be a blue ! over a crate in the cart next to your farm. You'll want to pick this up before you harvest."
