What I saw on retail in WoD was that if there was any single item (or even just gold) in a mob that you COULD loot, you saw its entire loot table, including items that dropped for someone else in your party.
That's news to me. Maybe someone can test it out on Classic. Not exactly the same as MoP but it's something.

Current behaviour: When in a group with other nearby players with any loot rules other than Free for All selected, loot below the threshold that drops is visible to players that it has not been assigned to.
Expected behaviour: The only loot that should appear in the loot window are items that the player is eligible to loot. If a gray item drops for party member A, party member B should not be able to see it in their loot window, unless A opens the loot window, sees the item, and closes the loot window without taking the item, which then is available to the entire group Free-For-All. This prevents confusion like in the above ticket where people think they are missing out on loot that isn't actually theirs.
