Errors adding My Maps #11

I'm having trouble adding geotiff and zip files via My Maps to use as custom map layers in StraboSpot. These files were downloaded directly from NGMDB, and I've added maps this same way in the past. I am now getting error messages of "Error! Geotiff [number] does not exist" when trying to upload an ngmdb zip file, and "GeoTIFF file not referenced correctly" when trying to upload a geotiff. I've tried this with multiple ngmdb map downloads, including those that I have successfully uploaded before, but I am running into the same issue. I also tried converting the ngmdb kmz's (which are correctly georeferenced on Google Earth) to geotiffs via QGIS and uploading those new geotiffs, but got the same error message. Thanks for any help.
