Graphical Issues on Linux Client

Computer Information: Game Version 8.0.6 Linux KRAKEN 4.20.7-arch1-1-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Wed Feb 6 18:42:40 UTC 2019 x86_64 GNU/Linux GTX 1080 using nvidia 415.27-5 (confirmed Eco is using it and not an integrated intel via nvidia-smi; Player.log also states this) Latest Steam Linux Client Beta

Issues noticed: New since 8.0.6:

Volumetric fog option causes all items to be pitch black, but visible when very close (block or two away).

Present since 8.0.5 (when I first started playing):

Graphical glitches are present underwater when using the underwater distortion option. With the option off, the screen is tinted blue but no other issues

Of potential note:

Pam was insisting the output log file should be called Output.log; however it appears to be called Player.log, the only Output.log like named file is Output_log_copy.txt. Not sure if this is an issue persay, but figured it would be important to note at the very least.

I will perform a graphics driver upgrade later this week when I have time to see if that is the cause of the issue. Since it will require a full system upgrade (such is the Arch way of life), I must wait until I have a few hours to dedicate to potentially fixing anything that stops working which won't be for a few days.

volumetric fog will likely be disabled/not an option for linux/openGL as it requires DX11+ and compute shaders.
