@redwyre A global off option for the voice chat, next to my range option, should be pretty default, even though the server is not using any resources. I know people can mute themselves and even turn their voice chat off, but given admins cannot mute and some people may just not get it, admins should have the ability to either mute players as admins or disable the voice chat completely when people freak out.
I posted a bug report about this the other day about a way to turn off voice server wide as there have been a number of issues to date with new bands of griefer going from server to server running yup to people and spewing in graphic detail some very bad stuff. In most cases the people they are going to have not muted voice as they have been talking to other players and initially assume some has a question for them and even if they quickly nute they are getting an earful. If a admin is on they can definitely ban but many have asked for a way they cam just turn it off across the server when they are gone. Then there are the issues of a longer time player that gets upset about something and starts carrying on and no one really wants to hear it - in those cases being able to mute the player by the admin would be good until they calm down, but just muting the server works too. Because of the griefing, hoover, its probably one of the most common requests I here, about how they can turn voice off when they are not around to ban people. There is a way players can protect themselves, I know, but since voice can get stuff out there a lot faster than typing it in a chat window and there is not log file to record it if there is a complaint later that so-and-so was saying stuff that player 2 did not want to hear having a way to just turn off voice when an admin is not going to be around is about the only answer
