Gathering perk level 3 sprites missleading #18207

If you select the mining skill tool upgrade one tier and the self improvement skill tool upgrade of one tier, I don't believe the benefits are stacking. It still takes 3 hits for my stone pickaxe to break basalt with both of those benefits.

Are you referring to Calorie usage?

Apologies - was referring to the Gathering Level 3 benefit - Tool Strength. The icon has a pickaxe on it, so one might believe that pickaxe receives a tier boost from this. Other skills with tool strength benefit have icons showing the one tool which is affected.

The Gathering Level 3 benefit only specifies "Related Tools" in the description, which is confusing can we change this images to the tools actually being affected by this skill.

I like the multiple tools selection as it displays the fact that the skill is having multiple tools being affected by it but we need to have the tools actually used and not every other tool.

These tools are being influenced by the Gathering skill Modifier. Screenshot_390.jpg.

But as an answer to your opening, no Gathering too strenght do not have any effect on other tools then specifically the ones listed above in the tool tip of calorie use.
