[9.3.3 - build 219] polluting work tables do not automatically turn on again after pollution got blocked #21783

If a law prevents the "pollute air" action, a polluting table gets turned off. It does not turn on automatically once air pollution is possible again, leading to inconveniences for players that have their machines turned off by air pollution blocking laws after logging off for the night, even if during 99% of that time, air pollution would have been possible. It would be great if polluting tables would periodically retry to pollute, which can be as little as once every 5 minutes, so they would take up their jobs once again. Otherwise players have to always watch their machines and turn all of them on manually after they got blocked.

Think this is something to consider out of both ends as for annoyance or player gameplay reasons id like this to work as described but at the same time i also kind of like the fact that it doesnt automatically turn stuff on again as it is possible to avoid polluting while crafting as it takes a second/tick for it to recheck if it can pollute. this would mean that it would still craft outside the scope of the prohibition regardless.

@WeaselDog @SlayksWood What do you think?

Perhaps have ON/OFF/Auto settings on them. There are cases when I would not want my machines to turn back on automatically. For example with an emissions permit system if someone sells me EPs I might not want my oil rig to eat all permits in case I wanted to spend it all on making steel. Having the option to turn oil rig permanently off and have the steel blasts on auto would be very nice in that case
