Open redun45 opened 10 months ago

redun45 commented 10 months ago

\ User Id: (Not logged user) Version: 0.10.0.2 beta release-544

Steps to Reproduce: Was standing on a stockpile and when i dumped the stone into the pile, i was burried into the subterranian part of the map, seeing what is under my house, unable to move and unable to use tools.

Expected behavior: the stockpile should have grown and thrown my character off or up in height.

Actual behavior: stockpile grew and burried the player alive

Do you have mods installed? Does the issue happen when no mods are installed?: none, yes

**Please provide log files. Instruction is here https://github.com/StrangeLoopGames/EcoIssues/wiki/Getting-the-Eco-game-log-file

Did it not teleport you after a few seconds?

redun45 commented 10 months ago

It did not. It was actually like it put me under the ground a layer or two. I was also seeing stones get thrown through multiple layers as I was mining them. I was forced to use the /unstuck to get out of the ground.

I also had a case where the game did not automatically unstuck me: after placing a large lumber stockpile where I was standing (and it's very hard to place that thing somewhere you're not standing :D) Manual /unstuck worked there as well.

I have observed this behavior on a few different servers now. I think that what i am observing could be linked to server load, and possibly the server admin have not built them with enough RAM. usually this happens near a time for scheduled maintenance/reboot etc. Not a big deal, but certainly quality of life.
