Version: 0.7.6.2 beta So... How to fix my rp workshop in steam era? place stack of waterwheel again? :( You add steam engine to provide lot of mechanical power to lathe, screw press and shaper. And now - my workshop have lot of electricity and not have mechanical power...

I have all the mechanical workstations running, as well as the other mechanical power user (woodworking and such) I have 3 windmills provided enough power. I missed the change of the steam engine to electrical power. But this actually a good thing, a good change. Because you would have ran into a bigger problem, if they didn't made the change. You will need e-power to progress in the game. You need it to produce oil and all things derived from that resource. It is rather important to actually be able to progress in the game than putting another windmill to the walls, don't you think? :-)

okay, before patch you have tree mechanical power source - two partially uncomplete (wind mill - works everywhere, and waterwheel - work ewerywhere too) and one generator used coal. And three electrical power source - combustion generator (used coal\wood as fuel (have crusher on the model)) and solar panels and wind turbine. All ok.

Now You have two uncomplete mechanical sources, requied stack (75w need to one machine - 3 need 2 power source now. what about 10? or more?) There is really return back to ugly wheels stacking. And 4 electrical sources. Combustion generator still have crusher, but can fueled by petroleum... Drop fuel barrel to crusher? Nice idea :dagger:

so... I do not understand the logic of the new chain Machinist Table -> Assembly Line + Steam Engine -> Electric Machinist Table -> Combustion Generator... you use steam engine one time, to create electric machinist table and combustion generator.

Looks ugly for me.

Still investigate? as i know adding converter planned, "Feature" will be better.
