Server Connection Issues

We will have users, some have been in game many times and other are new who will not be allowed in game during server attempts and then finally will be able to connect. During these time the console is showing the following:

All of these players have been in game many times and have the game and should be valid users. No other logs are being created that tell me why they are considered invalid and there is not an existing connection for them at the time these errors are occurring. After 1-5 tries they will finally get in. I am getting many complaints in support about people having trouble with people connecting on the server, the player gets the message that there was a connection failure, could not connect to master server. If asked to try a few times they do get in. I am thinking that what I am seeing on servers is whats happening here perhaps?

This is likely steam going down for maintenance. If we don't get a reply from steam verifying the token, we should just assume its good, as we'll do another check later anyway

I just started seeing this error on my server, and I don't use steam. Steam was also online during the last such error.

Sorry to hijack, but otherwise it would be an exactly duplicated post. I'm running 0.8.3.3 and this is the first I've noticed this.
