Add wild cats (forrest cats) to the game, and make wild cats and wolfs able to be tamed
https://github.com/StrangeLoopGames/EcoSuggestions/issues/1558
I like this game, in particularly enjoy the game for building and things. It would be nice to be able to tame and breed animals as a farmer, maybe add creatures like horses (and other farm animals not in the game). Perhaps you can breed either for food, stats and/or colors. It would also be fun to have animals you can tame, perhaps that give special perks, like cats and dogs.
Another thing that would be nice is more furniture and block choices for building. Perhaps you can make artificial woods (for example) to make different colors and combinations of woods, or artificial items for detail. It would also be nice to have blocks like fences for both building and also keeping livestock.
For a last suggestion, maybe there could be a way that people can make things like ponds, lakes, and rivers by taking water.

The cattle can be sold also as meat to butchers or sold to fellow cattle farmer it their breeding subskill is not good enough to breed properly
Cattle produces manure, this can be sold as fertilizer to crop farmers, also sold as raw material for biogas but it also brings pollution with it, to long on one place makes it pollute the ground. to much manure fertilizer on one spot will lead to dead crops, so crop farmers should be carefull to use manure as an fertilizer.
special storage systems can be used for milk and manure, the better the storing system for manure the less pollution it will give. Also there can be special tanks produced for tractors or trucks to deliver milk or manure to other shops. Also an cattle cart for tractors to deliver alive cattle to the butcher or other cattle farmers.
Horses can be used as transportation and sold, hunters and tamers would benefit of horses.

Horses used to be the muscle of Pre-Steam Engine Civilizations, I think they would make a perfect addition to the game. Saddles, headcollars or other accesories. The farmer could produce food that is perfect for domestic animals. The carpenter could build bigger carts only by Horses and furniture for a horsestable. Choosing the Hunter profession would be more appealing by adding a domestication specialty to tame horses and breed them (maybe even other animals). A horsestable could function as an additional room to gather skill points. And the best part is that they do not cause pollution but on the other hand alot of food.

Since anyone can make a bow and butcher the kill, hunters are basically a wasted point. the new animal AI can be gamed since animals will run for a bit after getting hit then slow and pause, usually still while in range. two head shots and most will fall. everyone shooting the animals has played a FPS at least once..that's the only shot worth making ;)
anyways, the late game is all about industry leaving something like "hunter" aka "naturalist" quite abandoned. what if it has the only skills to breed/rehabilitate/handle animals, both wild and 'domestic' which is a separately missing thing. we all love chickens and their eggs. and goat milk (shudder).

Hey! I just started to play the game and i realised that there is no seasons implemented and i was wondering if it will and when? I Also woundered about if you will be able to start animalfarms and such.

Will there be pet systems in the future, such as cats, dogs, horses, etc....

There are currently no interactions with animals aside killing them.
Would be very nice to be able to restrict them within a pen or water tank, preventing their despawn and other people from killing them.
Being able to breed them for less friendly purposes could generate a new kind of job and economy.
The number of animals contained within a pen or owned by a player could be limited, based on the player's breeder level to avoid performance impacts. Breeding speed could be scaled on Tree growing speed, making breeder only efficient if taken as 1st or 2nd star.
I would love to see more animals, especially farming animals such as chicken, cows and goats that could passively generate new products for crafts.
The current fauna is very nice and enjoyable, but seems to be only composed of wild animals.
