Keyboard latency while walking/riding [Linux] #1650

Hi devs,

I have an issue with keyboard latency/lag when I keyup (unpress the key). I am walking and pressing down e.g. W key for 5 seconds, then I unpress the key, then I still walk or ride for some time (max 1-2 seconds). When I press key just for few miliseconds, it is ok. Interesting is when the W is pressed for e.g. 5 seconds and I want to move right, I press D and unpress while W is pressed, this action will also take some time (1-2 seconds). It is like lag of queue of pressed keys.

Some investigation: I am linux user and I play linux version. I played 250 hours without any problems, but then I saw my friend's game and I saw there are leavs on trees and more plants and grass in the game (I was very surprised that the game should be sooo nice :D) So i started investigate what's the problem and tried switch to "Proton" version in Steam -> Eco -> Properties -> Compatibility. This fixed problems with leavs etc... But after few minutes I find out the problem of this topic. I think, my computer is not so bad (spec. below) and my settings is set almost to max graphic settings. After few moments I find out that this "lag" is caused by "View distance" settings. When I adjust it to 100, the lags disappeared. Please note, that only this "lag" is the problem, my game is running normally, 60fps... All of this happens only with Proton version of compatibility. (I tried many versions of Proton including the experimental)

I prefer to fix "standard" version of Eco, that mean, fix the leaves, grass etc. What I know Proton version has official support, but by Steam. If the missing leaves, grass is another bug, let me know, I can create another bug.

PC Spec: Ubuntu 20.04.4 LTS i7-8700K NVIDIA GTX1080ti 32GB ram game on M.2SS game resolution 4K, 60FPS

And my steam nickname is Nexisi

Thank you!
