Braziers and fireplaces (and campfires) don't seem to contribute to C02. There is little incentive to fuel them with charcoal or use electric lights. So from day 1 until meteor destruction I've only seen players burning fuels for fireplaces and lighting... that's a lot of C02 unaccounted for.
