It was actually the streamer ChocoTaco's idea. He prefers voice communication over the chat, so he requested that you can craft phones to call your local carpenter for instance. I like the idea. I imagine it would be very simple to expand the already implmented microphone feature, just to work over distance..

Further idea could be that the basic engineer could craft "dumb-phones" which can only call other players, while an electronics engineer can craft smartphones where you can perhaps have livetracking of players and take notes on.

Or walkie talkies ;-) where you could extend the range of your voice and people could choose respond or not!

But phones are nice... Pretty sure there is a unique number to identify every player. If you know someone and want to know he/she is on the server... if you know his number.. you can call him!

Pretty nice suggestion.. I really like that.

Simillar option exist on GTA RP.
