Also forgot to mention overhead highway signs, which are useful for navigation.
There really does need to be neon signs and electric billboards to make the end game stand out. Currently there isn't enough aesthetic content to make end game cities feel truly modern. Neon signs with configurable illumination patterns alone would make a big difference.
I also feel that vertical signs have been ignored. A long but narrow sign mounted vertically on a building with vertically aligned text would give players more creative freedom.

The small wood sign and wood sign are nice, but after that there isn't anything. It would be nice and logical to have metal signs, billboards (like the kind you see next to highways), neon signs, and all sorts of light strips to embellish modern buildings to make them more alive and attractive. Also, an even larger wooden sign that is wall mounted similar to a chalkboard would be useful.
