As you can see, this wall from stairs. And "internal" ladder can be builded in this configuration (yes, it is passable in both directions.) But adding "flipped" blocks (ladders, roofs, like minecraft) allow users to create more complex and cool houses.
Stairblocks are not counting as buildingblocks. Because of this its impossible to make simple stairs inside of a simple house. Image like a 7 by 7 house, and you want stairs in the floor. To do this i started at the corner, replaced the corner floor block with a stair block, went forward and down by one and placed another stairblock. I continued this untill i reached the place i wanted to be. when i tried to walk down the stairs i obviously hit my head against some blocks. So i removed 2 blocks from the floor so i could fit under it. Everything worked untill i tried to separate the rooms. 2 by 1 holes in a building are seen as doors or window, so the 2 blocks i removed should not cause an issue. Than i discoverd that stairblocks (atleast Hewn log stairs) do not count as buildblocks (blocks that can function as floors without beeing seen as an open space). Because of this the game sees my stairs as a 3 by 1 open space, wich merges both rooms together. Due to this its impossible to make any stairs without merging the rooms or making something to close of the stairst from the rest of the room.
please make it so that stairblocks are seen as buildingblocks or that there is something else that can fix this
NOTE: im in very early stages of building, so i dont have many recourses, that makes this more annoying
