This seems to be something CSGO did - Des also has this tint on overlays, I think it's to show you the selfillum mask. It'd be better as a toggle button somewhere of course.

thing is, the issue varies across different surfaces and maps, and the mats themselves actually switch back and forth to their intended colors on very specific view angles
even if I get a new map up and running and create a brush with that mat there, it shows up normally until you add more stuff to the map itself or if you screw around with a few things. I doubt a change like this is intended in the first place, given that a few overlays are quite literally UnlitGeneric (like the signage iirc)

z-fighting will probably be fixed in the next update

Describe the bug
Materials such as the signage featured in Portal 2 and the building_template windows in hl2's d1_trainstation_01/02/06 may present a blue shade in place of the intended white colors within the Hammer viewport.
