I found your mod to be great but using but i got frustrated since i had to lose control over day speed in order to make use of the integration.
I tried to add a configuration option to scale time day/night speed of hourglass when using the integration.
I didn't manage figure how to build and test your project so it is untested, but i think it should work with little to no modifications.
