The tabulated Ewald kernel does not work correctly and it needs to be fixed.
Currently, the code uses the analytical Ewald kernel.
There are two options for enabling the tabulated version:
manually modifying the pick_ewald_kernel_type function
adding the GMX_CUDA_NB_TAB_EWALD environment variable (this environment variable is soon going to be changed to GMX_OPENCL_NB_TAB_EWALD. Check the code in pick_ewald_kernel_type function to see the current used name)
An example of a data set using this kernel is adh_cubic_vsites used with pme_verlet_vsites.mdp. It can be downloaded from here: ftp://ftp.gromacs.org/pub/benchmarks
