Describe the bug
By default, Stremio playback on Chromecast with GoogleTV 4K is stuttery with a lot of dropped frames. The solution is to go into developer mode and click on "Disable HW Overlays".
The issue is that with this device, the setting doesn't stay on and gets reset every time your turn it off, making a trip deep into the settings a part of the startup ritual, which is just stupid. For 99% of users who don't care to find out about this issue on this device, Stremio app is unwatchable because of the stutters.
Why doesn't Stremio play along with HW overlays? All other streaming apps work fine.
