There is no bug sounds like you are trying to play a video your TV cannot decode.

d2fx commented 3 months ago

This is simply not correct, it happens with every video I try to run. Doesn't matter what format or resolution. How come that the movies or shows I already watched on Stremio on the same TV a couple of days ago don't play too?

jaruba commented 3 months ago

@d2fx let me make a guess, you are trying to play torrents and if u go to the app settings it says the streaming server is offline, turn off ur TV, unplug it from the power socket for 10s, plug it back in and start Stremio

the app is on it's very first release for LG TV, so it is far from stable, keep calm and wait for updates

d2fx commented 3 months ago

Sorry if I came off a bit arrogant and rude ,wasn't something I wanted. I tried switching the TV off and wait a few minutes and I didn't help, even did a factory reset of the TV. I understand that it's the first iteration of the app but I just don't understand why the app was working fine one day and the next day it didn't without any updates in between. When I cast it plays the files fine as well if I play them from an external source/HDD.

Thanks

so you are not trying to stream torrents? and it says that the streaming server is online in the Stremio app settings?

d2fx commented 3 months ago

The server is online, and yes I was trying to stream. I just tried to see if the TV is the reason for not playing the files thats why I tried casting and playing the file off external sources.
