App is laggy when launched through terminal #671

Terminal: konsole 
Terminal Font: Hack Nerd Font 12 
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 (12) @ 3.600GHz 
GPU: AMD ATI Radeon RX 5600 OEM/5600 XT / 5700/5700 XT 
Memory: 4297MiB / 15902MiB

I am using the flatpak version of stremio. Whenever I run the app via terminal with: flatpak run com.stremio.Stremio the video player tends to be quite slow to respond to mouse movements and clicks. Clicking pause, for instance, sometimes doesn't respond at all or takes 2-3 seconds to respond. This issue does not occur when running via application launcher.

Is there any way to troubleshoot this and/or is this a known issue?
