we currently look for DOCKER_IP and DOCKER_PORT however the standard envvar is DOCKER_HOST. IIRC what I do in dew is I look for it and I parse it with uri-js -- I'm writing up a strider docker in docker guide and will come across this soon and will probably PR this when I cross this bridge
