Hi @positr0nic!
Thanks for reporting this problem. It appears to be related to #524 and our use of /* AGENT_SHEET */
in our stylesheet.
yes, I found in settings all similar boxes suffer equally not just these.
I'll drop AGENT_SHEET
, it'll dead with web extensions anyways. As for this issue: I can style options fine but not the optgroup labels for some reason. Smells like a Firefox bug.
Should be somewhat fixed in https://github.com/StylishThemes/GitHub-Dark/commit/048eaf9e74311a3258fae547bc4102a422e2157e. I can't do anything about the white background on the <optgroup label>
until Mozilla fixes this.
thx
Why is the blue on the scroll highlight on these fields not the same color as the base color?
Probably related to us removing the /* AGENT_SHEET */
- See https://github.com/StylishThemes/GitHub-Dark/issues/354#issuecomment-234300706
Oops, I thought you asked about the scrollbars...
It looks like we can't style the hover highlight color. I changed the base color, and the blue hover highlight remains.
eh no, it was about the fields when you open them and you have a list and the blue is not anywhere like the base color.
look above on the movie thing. except the backs are almost all black now, the bar is still same blue shown.
Shall I open another report?
I don't think we can do anything about it... I think it's a Firefox bug.
well, you can fix (if you wnat) it and when they fix it it works ;)
We can do it once Chrome AND Firefox supports styling option hovers 😉
Apparently you can style an option:checked
, but that doesn't help much
OK
Should be somewhat fixed in 048eaf9. I can't do anything about the white background on the
<optgroup label>
until Mozilla fixes this.
@silverwind seems I found a workaround for it
optgroup:before {
color: #888 !important;
background-color: #181818 !important;
}
optgroup {
background-color: #191919 !important;
}
This works not exactly as intended because theres no conflict between the background colors (they arent same colors) bt the firefox optgroup:before is actually styled by the optgroup bg color.
Good find, let's add it.
Browser: Firefox 55.0.3
