[BUG] Options screen displays 'User input malformed' #532

Open BalassaMarton opened 3 years ago

BalassaMarton commented 3 years ago

Environment

Describe the bug

When clicking Submit in the Options dialog, this message is displayed and the dialog doesn't close: 'User input malformed'. The dialog itself looks strange (Settings 1/3, Configuration 1/2, what does that mean?)

Steps to Reproduce

Install integration, click Options, click Submit without changing anything

Expected behavior

Options should be saved.

Additional context

hakana commented 3 years ago

I can't reproduce this. Any other having this problem?

pa-sleo commented 3 years ago

I also had this Problem today after a new install of homeassistant with supervised script, hacs on ubuntu 20.1.

BalassaMarton commented 3 years ago

I gave up and reverted back to the default Shelly integration, now everything is working fine.

pa-sleo commented 3 years ago

@BalassaMarton : Okay, but the configuration over the configuration.yaml was working so you can do it over that way. So the bug is existing but there is also a workaround.

I ran into the same issue. If I set a port for MQTT it works (but I don't use MQTT...).

I'm running the virtualenv installation.
