chinese characters with clone

i made update to charset snd to firmware and my minimosd stills have chinese 
characters ...the proggraming made with FTDI basic 3,3v with usb 

the minim osd is V 0.1 and it s clone what to do ??

Good luck with your clone! You'll probably need it.
Unfortunately, many of those clones out there have all the sort of hardware 
issues as well as no firmware, no bootloader or no charset loaded.

At first look it seems to be a wrong voltage on the Maxim 7456.
You need to check it or contact your vendor for a replacement.

No. You cant update charset through a SPI programmer.

SOLVED  - I had the same problem and thought I wasted my money on this clone.  
Try powering both sides of the MinimOSD board and then update the character 
set.  I connected my OSD to the PC via FTDI and then connected the transmitter 
and camera to the OSD. My transmitter supplied the 12v.  I guess you could just 
supply 12+ and ground to the IN connectors and have the same outcome.

SOLVED agree with  #4 Bruce.Pa...@gmail.com :p work fine 2.2 version with 
Charset_Trug_Small.mcm (char) connect with 5v and 12v for cam load CT tOOls and 
update the character
