Updated README.md for flake8 3.7.0, as well as additional language review.

Notes:

I tried to apply some general language edits to make a few sentences more natural; take or leave as you wish!
I couldn't see anything in the flake8 docs for --stdin-display-name that indicated it was a 3.0.0 feature, so I removed the reference to the workaround only being applicable to that version and above, though if there was another code dependency that makes this necessary, it may need adding back in

I think stdin display name was introduced with v3, that's why we don't provide it by default. We want to stay backwards compatible if possible.
