Alternates to Sumatra? #987

I'm on Windows. Sumatra works once but it hangs every time after. Is there a different pdf viewer that could work?

Sumatra is currently the only supported pdf viewer. Though one could add an other one as command line viewer, but it would be better to fix the bug with Sumatra #937. However we first need a way to reproduce the bug, such that we can narrow down and fix the error.

We currently don't support anything else on Windows because nothing else has support for SyncTeX AFAIK (forward and inverse sync functionality). The command viewer can be used to use other programs (I tested it on Windows with FoxPDF, but I don't have the setup around any more).

If you're exploring other viewers on Windows, please don't use Adobe's Reader. It locks the PDF, which makes LaTeX fail until Reader is closed.
