Existing script did not work on my mac (10.13.6) so I made changes and added additional feedback text

Hey, Unfortunately we no longer have a developer who runs on a MacOS environment, so merging this PR will be postponed until further notice. At the meantime however, there's this page with what i believe a working QModManager installation for Mac. Try giving it a go and let me know how it goes.

Understood. For now, should probably close this since I wrote a much more streamlined shell script last night.
