1 year ago nothing I know of is fast and simple, I alreayd try triggering the generate asset thumbnail function. I've seen little libraries for it and I have some code for it, none of it is simple and fast. The only upside is the functionality would be pretty siolated from everything else. I'm bumping down to medium to be re-evaluated after launch for priority
