Still have duplicate birthdays #65

With version 1.15 (16) I still have some dupes.

Could you give an example with corresponding Accounts?

screenshot_2013-07-03-23-57-52 "Chacha Maxx" has an account in Google, CardDav and UberSync for Facebook. From some other contacts it looks like this first two are the ones not merged.

Just one last question: Is "Chacha Maxx" displayed as separated contacts in your contacts app or are "all" "Chacha Maxx" displayed as one contact?

They are all "joined" in one contact.

Strange but: it seems to work on my tf700 (stock rom) but not on my galaxy nexus (cyanogenmod 10.1).

I can confirm this bug/feature - Birthday Adapter pulls birthdays form various contact providers, accounts. These contact providers are cached somewhere. I haven't found a way of purging (maybe deleting the account would help). I get double entries for contacts that I migrated from my google contacts list to another address book (CardDAV-Sync beta by Marten Gajda). I just tried and found it strange that I don't get triple entries for people I have in skype, google and CardDav.

Dominik, keep up the good work, the App is great!

Hello! This also affects Android 2.2 on HTC Desire (Bravo). I've disabled sync to Google-Contacts and don't use Skype or (other skullduggery). This has worked before in several Android 4.0/4.1 ROMs.

Please try new version 1.16. If it does not fix the issue we repopen the bug :)
