Birthday Adapter obeys the system setting to do no synchronization if the system sync toggle is disabled.

Should Birthday Adapter obey this setting? Normally user disable sync to save bandwidth. Birthday Adapter does not use the internet
We should include a notice about that problem in the Help activity
