Each interview should have a single decisionmaker to be your single point of contact with go/no-go authority for that interview. Most of the time there will be other stakeholders, but it is the decisionmaker's job to deal with them, clarify their feedback for us, and get whatever approvals they might need.
You should meet with the decisionmaker as early as possible.
The goals of this meeting are:
Introduce the decisionmaker and key stakeholders to the developers who will be building their interview.
Identify any key requirements for the interview, especially those that might not be obvious from the source documents.
Schedule a brief weekly check-in with the decisionmaker to keep them, ask and answer questions, and get decisions when you need them to move forward.
To Do
[x] Schedule a meeting with the decisionmaker and key stakeholders. Make sure everyone knows the above goals in advance.
[x] Have the meeting. (Take careful notes!)
[x] Schedule a regular check-in meeting and get it on everyone's calendar
[x] Confirm your understanding of the interview requirements with the decisionmaker
[x] Discuss e-filing requirements
[x] Add the interview requirements to the Build the interview card
We weren't able to get the e-filing requirements, but we asked for them so we can collect them later. At our next standup we will clarify requirements.
