No Hibernation #7

I'm on the X260, 1080p screen, 6300u, 16GB RAM on Monterey.

Thanks everyone for putting this together. Most everything is working, USB, wifi, card reader, bluetooth, wifi, etc... but Hibernation doesn't work. It will only ever sleep (which works fantastic!) I've followed the guide here in Terminal but it doesn't change anything unfortunately. I've tried pretty much everything but maybe I'm overlooking something.

Any ideas here? Thanks again.

@outlandernwah thanks for stopping by and taking time to comment buddy <3 Personally I never use Hibernation, so I didn't work on that tho but after this post seems like I too have the same problem. Will find a solution asap and let you know buddy. Also, if you find one make sure you post the fix here. Thanks in advance :)

I definitely will keep this guide posted if I figure anything out. Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. It would just be nice to have the extra battery life here and there from hibernation. :) It does work on Windows out of the box (W11) which made me go, oh yeah... lol

Oh one more thing, the SD card reader seems to work a lot better from that T460s guide on GitHub. It works coming out of sleep mode. On this one here, it works then fails to mount anything after sleep. Both are slow tho, but just thought I would let you know. I can make another issue track if necessary.

Hey there! I may have found some info on S3/25 sleep here: https://github.com/tylernguyen/x1c6-hackintosh/issues/84

I had a few other links but I lost them. They were talking about patching the ACPI on Linux iirc. If I find the links again, I'll update this post. Maybe that post could be of use to you. :)

I see this was closed as completed recently! Did you end up figuring out what the issue with hibernation was? I'm curious.
