I doubt I'll get down to it in next few weeks, due to exams at university, but I'll try and keep it in mind.
So, I had a look and hooked the function itself... however, for whatever reason, the input after hooking was really weird - as in felt as if the game either accepted X axis or Y axis rotation and never both at the same time.
you probably don't care but i was wondering if you could also port mouselook/freelook to controllers
