@dospromptman - I was talking with my friend Skye Tyler about flows and she mentioned using Screen Flow and the Data Fetcher to do maybe solve address this email scenario. Since with Data Fetcher we could capture all the contacts into a collection for the recipient list and use screenflow to write the message, pull in some standard items like activity name, shift time, etc. and then use Send Email Action to send it.
anyways wanted to share - definitely not as fancy as what you've built with the UI, but I wonder if it could help by-pass some of the limitations. Here's her presentation deck on Data Fetcher from CzechDreamin and she's presenting at MidWest Dreamin on this next week. I know the deck doesn't have the demo, but it does have some linked resources and I can reach out to her if you think it would be worth exploring to see if she can share access to her demo org or do a walk through with you.
