Selecting Add menu item pulls edit screen for selected item rather than form for new item

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Select an item in the secrets list
2. Select Add from Menu

What is the expected output? 
A new Secrets form

What do you see instead?
A Secrets form with the selected item contents like you would if you had
selected Edit from the Menu

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
G1 on Android 1.1

Please provide any additional information below.
The Add menu item only works if there are no items selected. But when you
login, the first item is selected. It took me a while to figure out how to
unselect the item - by touching it to show the password in a Toast popup.
