Suddenly lost data #84

New installation on 12-Nov-10. Entered one secret. Exported to CSV. Copied CSV
to laptop. Added 158 secrets in CSV (copied from TurboPasswords file). Copied
CSV to phone (Android Incredible). Imported to Secrets. Secrets says I have 159
secrets. I had 17 blank secrets (that I chose not to copy from TurboPasswords)
so I opened each and deleted it. Everything is OK at this point. I opened a
secret I was curious about, used by laptop to investigate the web site for a
couple of minutes. When I picked up my phone there was an error message saying
Secrets had stopped working and giving me a choice of closing the app closed or
reporting. I chose close. When I reopened Secrets I had only 1 secret, the
first one I entered manually. I lost all my secrets!

Hi donm,

Sorry for the trouble you experienced. A few questions:

- When you say "added 158 secrets in csv", did you type them manually into the
csv file, following the same columns as the first secret? Or did you you have
turbopasswords create the file?

- your secrets are not lost, they should still be available in an automatic
backup. Login in to secrets and chose the "Restore" menu option. You will see
the SD card listed as a source, but you will also see other backups starting
with @. Try choosing them in reverse chronological order until you find the
restore point with all your secrets.

I will try to reproduce your problem. Please let me know if the restore point
works.
