System loganstaging.esna.com - DESKTOP APP option does not persist if user selects "Desktop app" but clicks "Continue in browser" in User preferences at landing page #106

Setup: UserA - Tho Pham - admin of space1

Steps:

  1. At landing page, userA opens User Preferences and select "Desktop app" under DESKTOP APP section
  2. UseA clicks "Continue in browser"
  3. UserA opens User Preferences and sees "Ask every time" is selected in DESKTOP APP

Is the issue reproducible: 100%

@Tho Pham ( https://app.asana.com/0/1151199909755310/list ) that is the expected behaviour since you are changing the preference before you take an action. I mean you change it to Desktop App but when back on landing you do a Continue in Browser without Remember so the setting is update to that decision that it is the same as "Ask every time"
