Don't understand help for setNodeAndTextPosition #75

I was looking at the help for setNodeAndTextPosition:

"Set the x,y coordinates of the node and node text position if there are consistent."

It says it sets the position of the node AND the text? Is that correct? Also, what does "if there are consistent. " mean?
