Hi! I'm having quite a lot of trouble with the exercise, and my current issue is that there is no cube in the project (it's gone, I must have done something but unsure what). Can I add in a new cube, or does the cube need specific measurements? I'd rather not have to start the whole thing over again to start with the cube that Blender is supposed to give you at the start of the project as it was quite a struggle getting here, but will of course if there is no other option.
Hi there! I am stuck at the part where one has to trace the outline of the cross section/profile. I believe this is the part where you go into Edit Mode and select cursor and then go SHIFT+CONTROL+RIGHT MOUSE CLICK to drag the cursor along the outline, but for some reason, I am not getting the same dotted line that Vasiliki got, and when I try to finish the outline, it disappears once I let go of the cursor.
Hi all, I too am having a lot of difficulty with this exercise. I am stuck at the volume calculation, I have tried for hours to close ('cap'?) my shape once I duplicate the faces (step 5). Not sure what I am doing wrong...
I wish that I could impart wisdom @ChantalvanEgdom and @nicolealexandra33, I am not sure how to help!
Dear all, Thank you for your questions! I am very busy today but tomorrow I will submit here a youtube private link with showing you how to finish this exercise. Dont get discouraged, I know it might be frustrated in the beginning :)

You might not be seeing the cube if you have deselected it from the outline viewer. But in any case you can add another add. Press SHIFT+A and the Add window will appear with many options. Select Cube from the Mesh list.

Alas, I am also stuck with this exact problem and cannot figure it out. I am on a Macbook, which I know has its own particularities with these functions, though I don't know if that is the issue.

I am also on this point now, and have the same problem. I've tried with my laptop's mousepad and with a wired mouse, but the issue persists...
@nicolealexandra33 @FabioDFernandes @ChantalvanEgdom I struggled with getting CTRL+SHIFT+RMB to do anything, but I think it finally worked when (a) the cube was still selected (after having had its vertices deleted); (b) we were in edit mode. Click once (don't drag) on each point on the curve, and the line should extend to that point.
(I feel your frustration, btw. Blender keeps crashing for me—and I have a high-powered Mac with good graphics, so it's not that my computer can't cope.)
If you have any technical issues or other questions about the Blender exercise, please feel free to ask them here, and we or your colleagues may be able to give some pointers.
