Issue with inbound plan on sipsorcery setup with FPL and GV

Postby Shaf77 » Tue Oct 26, 2010 2:53 pm
Hi!

I am using sipsorcery with freephoneline.ca and Google Voice.

As of Friday, I cannot receive inbound calls to my line. I get a message saying
that the call is not covered by my tariff plan. I contacted Freephoneline and
the issue is not at their end and we have tested by changing my ATA setting to
use them exclusively and everything worked fine. As soon as I chnage my ATA
settings to use sipsorcery, I am not able to recive inbound calls.

Please can someone take a look at the plan I have and let me know if there is
an issue?

I have attached a copy of the tutorial I used...

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I expect inbound calls to be processed. When someone calls my FPL # they are
getting a msg that the call is not covered by the tariff plan.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Please provide any additional information below.

Hi Shaf,

If you used the code supplied in the tutorial, you are asking for help at site
that doesn't use or maintain that code. But by reading the tutorial, it says
you may need to setup forwarding from FPL to IPKall unless the number you got
from FPL is in the 403 area code. If you're using IPKall as the tutorial
suggests, then FPL is forwarding every incoming call to a US-based phone number
before IPKall transfers it to a VoIP line. I would expect that incur a tariff.

So, in short, you're not even using our scripts. You need to find someone at
FPL or locate the FPL support forum. If they can't help, locate the SIP Sorcery
support forum. Maybe you thought this was the SIP Sorcery support forum, but we
are only here to distribute our scripts and provide assistance when you use our
scripts. I've never even heard of FPL before your post.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help, but you are asking people who have no clue
about FPL and why they charge you to call US numbers.
